What people ask us most
Does Cotizy issue tax invoices?
No. Cotizy makes quotes, estimates and receipts. It does not issue official tax invoices or replace your country's e-invoicing system. Your documents can say "Not a tax invoice".
Is it free? Does it have ads?
It is free, with no ads and no subscription. The free version makes unlimited quotes, receipts and clients, keeps up to 30 products, prints and backs up to your Google Drive. Pro is an optional one-time payment.
How much is Pro?
It is a one-time payment, no subscription. It is US$19.99 in the United States and less in many other countries. You see the exact price in your currency on Google Play before you pay.
How do I send a quote by WhatsApp?
Open the quote, tap Send and choose WhatsApp. Your client gets it as a PDF, ready to open on any phone or computer. Guide: how to make a quote and send it by WhatsApp →
Can I bring my products from Excel?
Yes. In Products, tap the import button and choose your Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. You see how they look before saving. The free version keeps up to 30 products; Pro keeps them all.
Which printers does it work with?
With the regular printer in your office or home, over WiFi and with nothing to install, if it is one that prints from phones; if not, you can use Android's print system. Also with 58 and 80 mm thermal receipt printers over Bluetooth, USB or WiFi.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You quote, get paid and print with no internet. You only need it to send the PDF or save a copy to your Google Drive. You don't need an account either.
Can I quote in another currency?
Yes. Quote in your currency or in a second one with the exchange rate you use, and Cotizy shows the total in your own currency.
Can I make a receipt if the client pays only part?
Yes. You enter how much they paid and Cotizy works out the balance. The receipt shows the total, what was paid and what is left, and what you are owed stays in sight on the main screen. Guide: receipt with a deposit and balance due →
What if I change phones?
Save a copy to your Google Drive from Settings, under Backup, and restore it on the new phone. Backup is free. If you bought Pro, it comes back with your Google account.
What languages is Cotizy available in?
Nine: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Turkish, Russian and Vietnamese. The app uses your phone's language, and you can change it in Settings, under Language.
Is there an iPhone or computer version?
Not yet. Cotizy works on Android phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or later.
